"Dream delivers us to dream, and there is no end to illusion" *Emerson
Dreams: It is indeed not only one of the greatest gifts God has blessed us with but it is also the easiest things to experience. To have a dream, we simply close our vision and enter a world of perfection. This is what Emerson means by a dream delivers us to dream, it's the simple fact that we are dreaming about a dream. There is this previous stage before dreaming in which we create a dream within reality just like a young boy dreams for a video game for Christmas. We, like the young boy, are implanting the dream within our heads before we even start dreaming. The idea is then transported to our minds which then creates the dream when one sleeps. The dream delievers us to dream. This becomes a fantasy within itself, more so perfection within itself. "...there is no end to illusion..." because when we dream we create a world that is not of our current world, but a world of another kind. This dream world has no end, it is infinite, eternity, almost like our imagination has no legs but roller skates that forces it to skate to an infinite skating rink. I've always pondered on the question as to Why God Blesses us with Dreams? So I came up with this....
God Blesses us with dreams to gift us with glimpses of heaven, a perfect world, and sometimes he gives us not glimpses but warnings as to how it is in hell. I've had my many share of typical dreams from talking to a loved one to almost being killed by Michael Myers however what I've realized is you always WAKE UP! It's almost as if God gives us the dream and then the moment we are about to mistaken the fake for the real he wakes us up. God is secretly teaching us a lesson, that we are in an imperfect world and yes as humans we do fall for the dreams of our imperfect world whether it being materialistic or worldly things however God promises us a chance to live in a perfect world. He wakes us up in hopes of us realizing and dissecting the moral of our dreams; that is, the fact that this imperfect world is temporary, it's the perfect world of His that's permanent. He has been creating a dream for us ever since the day Jesus Christ died on the cross for us all, the dream of living in a perfect and magnifying world; with Him. We need to seek it and believe in it, whether we find this perfection within a dream or within reality, the moment we wake up. It's our number one goals as Christians in getting to heaven, it's this notion of discovering one's Faith. Dreams promises us perfection just like God promises us everlasting life. We must find our faith. Thus, in a sense God gives us dreams to help us find it. So once we have our faith, and we get to heaven, it is then God that delivers us to dream, (whether DREAM be defined as death or the implanted idea of being with our Father in heaven). The result is: HEAVEN & like a dream, within heaven, there is indeed no end to illusion. Keep dreaming within His Grace so we can all sail and dream within the seas of His pearly, perfected & dream-like shores ;)
I've always thought of God giving messages to us in dreams, but I never thought of it in depth as your blog. Life isn't perfect. Although we all know that life isn't a "kingdom of perfection", we do know that we can still strive to get closer to it. Heaven is the kingdom of perfection. In order to get there we need to be able to "stay in his Grace" and not let any distractions or temptations block our path. Wonderful blog!
